What is your role about?
- Be responsible for the integration of engines and transmissions into Škoda vehicles:
- Coordinate the processes of engine integration into vehicles
- Ensure the compatibility of transmissions with different vehicle models
- Collaborate with other teams to optimize performance and efficiency
- Be responsible for the development of peripheral systems of the power unit
- Develop exhaust systems: Design and test exhaust systems to ensure optimal performance and emission standards
- Develop cooling systems: Design cooling systems for efficient heat dissipation from the engine
- Develop intake systems: Optimize intake systems to improve engine performance and efficiency
- Power unit mounting: Ensure proper mounting of the engine and transmission to minimize vibrations and improve stability
These tasks involve close collaboration with other departments, testing and validation of designs, and continuous pursuit of innovative solutions to improve the performance and reliability of Škoda vehicles.
What do you need to know and have?
- Completed university education in a technical field - engineering
- Proficiency in English (level B2) or German (level B1) for daily communication with international colleagues and suppliers; some of our internal meetings are also in English/German
- Professional experience: 1-2 years in the field
