HILL International is searching for a Sorting Center Manager in their team in the region of Zilina.

Our Client is an international company in the field of circular economy with a site with more than 300 employees in Slovakia.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• The person who will undertake this position will be responsible for organizing, managing and improving the matured production process with the main goal to achieve the assigned targets in terms of volumes and quality.

• The new colleague will focus on managing a stable and successful team by developing and fine tuning their skills set and encouraging a nurturing environment as well as maintaining and striving towards continuous business process improvement.
• The production is covered by one morning shift
• He/ she will oversee all the production processes by planning and organizing production schedules for the 5 production teams securing that the production and quality targets are met, all internal and external regulations are adhered to, and budget frames are respected

• Besides traditional production challenges the person will be responsible for managing the purchase process and controlling the logistic activities

• He/she will be also responsible for maintaining excellent customer relations and meeting sales targets

• As a Sorting Center Manager, the person also supervises the external service companies and the Production support team (e.g. internal forklift drivers and external logistics towards customers are managed by the Warehouse Manager - direct report to the SCM)

Osobnostní předpoklady a dovednosti

• The ideal candidate has a strong production experience (minimum 5 years, teams of 50+)

• Entrepreneurial and organizational skills

• Excellent interpersonal and managerial skills, can optimize production processes per the need of the management and customer feedback

• We are looking for a proven problem solver who is able to secure the respect of all internal and external regulations

• Fluent Slovakian (or Czech) and English language knowledge is crucial
