The Programme Test Manager will be responsible and accountable for developing and delivering the programme wide testing strategy across all phases of the programme. The Test Manager will need to ensure visibility, traceability and control of the testing process to deliver a quality and reliable ERP solution and also meet programme audit and compliance requirement. The Test Manager will need to coordinate various programme resources during this process and need to be experienced in organising ‘virtual teams’ to meet their goals.

Essential JobFunctions(Duties &Responsibilities): Define the overall programme testing strategy and sign-off with key programme management and stakeholders. Manage the testing team in a virtual and matrix management environment. Responsible for the coordination and direction of all testing activities. Resolve test findings, defects and conflicts within system delivery. Build and manage stakeholder relations. Setting and tracking performance again KPI’s. Create test scripts that support a user story lead development approach Define the scope of testing within the context of each project delivery. Deploy and manage the appropriate testing frameworks to meet the testing mandate, in line with the Bodycote Test Policy. Promotes and practices safetyandgood housekeeping. Performs other tasks as assigned ordictatedbypo Travel: The role will involve significant travel both domestic and international as required.

Requirements(Qualifications &Skills): Experience: 10 plus years test management experience with exposure to large international programmes and roll outs. Demonstrable experience in utilising virtual and matrix managed teams. Communications: Must be a good communicator, both verbally and written. This means can facilitate working meetings, ask good questions, listen to the answers (really listen), and absorb what’s being said. The ability to be a strong communicator in a virtual setting (via conference calls or web meetings) is equally important. Problem Solving: Facilitate a shared understanding of problems, the possible solutions, and determine the scope of the work to deliver. Negotiation between multiple business or technical stakeholders. Leadership: The test manager needs to have strong leadership skills to build up and lead the testing team to the success of the project. They will need to deploy and manage these resources for testing. Documentation & Specifications: The ability to create clear and concise You will need strong general documentation and writing skills. Analysis: Very strong analytical skills. Thorough in approach and the ability to identify gaps and not gloss over them. Technical skills: The test manager will need to have a strong technical understanding of the software to apply best practice and contribute to improvements and innovation. They will have to have strong working knowledge of SAP S4 HANA. Visual modelling: You will need to create visual models that support your analysis. The ability to capture information visually – whether in a formal model or a drawing.
