PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Within the Products & Innovation (P & I) board area, SAP Global Security (SGS) has been established under leadership of SAP’s Chief Security Officer. SGS is structured in the units Physical Security, Secure Operations, Secure Development, Incident Response / Cyber Security, Program Management & Communication.



The Corporate IT Security Team, which is part of the Secure Operations unit, has the following primary objectives:

Ensuring the secure and compliant operations of SAP’s corporate business systems
Definition of Security Measures & Architecture Framework
Security Advisories for IT related projects
Maintenance and definition of IT Standards, Directives & Procedures
Support as part of Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for IT Security and Compliance topics
Ensuring ISO and PCI Compliance for Corporate Demands

For the Corporate IT Security Team, we are searching for an Associate IT Security Specialist who will be in charge to support SAP’s IT Teams with state of the art security architectural guidance and consulting including compliance and technical security measures especially in the area of secure IT System Operations. This will be done in close alignment with SAP’s IT-operating organizations to continuously improve the security level for SAP and SAP’s customers globally. Hence active collaboration and support of SAP globally during implementation of security improvements is a key task.

EXPECTATIONS, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As Associate IT Security Specialist, you'll be responsible to:

Establish and maintain IT Security Governance model for LoBs operating IT Infrastructure
Support and consult SAP’s IT projects and teams to drive security improvements and changes into the organization
Define, manage & derive IT security requirements
Provide professional advice to internal and external parties
Manage and drive the creation of mitigation plans and follow up their implementation.
Manage & conduct internal and external IT security audits / penetration tests and ensure effectiveness of such reviews.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

Graduate in Computer Science, Software engineering or equivalent
Theoretical & practical knowledge in the area of IT Security. Network or Infrastructure Security is preferred.
Quick Learner, passionate, motivated and self-managed
Very good spoken and written English and Czech
Strong communication skills in English and Czech
Good Knowledge on (secure) operations of IT systems and landscapes
Knowledge on SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA
Fluent level of Czech language



Preferred skills

Hands-on experience in the area of security hacking or penetration testing is a plus
A professional certification e.g. CISSP or CISA is very beneficial
Good knowledge on IT infrastructure technologies, such as operating systems and network technologies
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for IT Security (e.g. ISO 27001, SOX) is a plus
Knowledge in software security (authentication mechanisms, cryptography, system and network security, security breaches…) is an advantage
German Skills is a plus



WORK EXPERIENCE

At least 0-2 years professional experience in the field of Information Technology (preferably IT security)
