We are currently seeking an IT Engineer who will join Back Office team and provide IT support for our colleagues in Slovakia, but even abroad.
To your main responsibilities as IT Engineer will belong:
- Install working places for newcomer, prepare and install standard IT environment (desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment). Install, configure and upgrade operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages. Configure and commutate network and telecommunication links.
- Install, assemble and configure peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware.
- Pull cables and rewires or directs the rewiring of cables as required for new installations and office reconfiguration, without affecting of fixed cable installations, which are part of the building.
- Upgrade users hardware and software by requests or necessity.
- Respond to support requests, diagnosing equipment and configuration issues with a variety of applications on desktops and laptops remotely or directly on the user-side. Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems. Document resolutions for future reference.
- Assist in the working places' hardware movements (commutation).
- Assist in the installation of network infrastructure equipment including cabling plants, communications backbone equipment, and telecommunications hardware.
- Assist in the organization of presentations, audio-and video-conferencing (equipment, setup, configuration and testing).
- Ownership, monitor and track assigned requests in IMS. Work closely with end-users to resolve specific problems. Ensure that IMS requests are completed in a timely manner. Maintain high level of end-user satisfaction.
What we expect from you is:
- Solid background in systems administration, consulting and excellent customer
- knowledge in administration and configuration of AD, DNS, DHCP
- Ambition to learn new systems, procedures, techniques in a short period of time
- Willingness and ability to plan and perform tasks before the deadline
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Good knowledge in LAN/WAN design and administration
- Excellent communication skills
- Spoken English on advanced level :)
