The Finance Shared Services Center for the European and AFME region is a high performing team responsible for the timely delivery of standardized financial processes on behalf of Pfizer.

This is what you can look forward to:

* This position (reports to the VP Lead Divisional Controller (based in NYC)) will be a key resource to the Global Financial Services (GFS) Prague leadership in handling financial reporting and accounting issues and will partner with GFS colleagues across the organization. As such, this role will contribute to overall strategy and manage complex issues with financial reporting and accounting implications and will ensure that the accounting procedures are robust and will drive consistent and effective accounting and control procedures.

* You will be accountable for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting results in compliance with Corporate Policy, US and Local GAAP and state and statutory requirements. This will require integration, development and implementation of processes to ensure appropriate controls and compliance as well as meeting business needs across the organization and business units.

* You will partner with the Divisional Controllers supporting our Eastern Europe and Africa/Middle East Regions to ensure the ongoing connectivity of the Finance and Shared Services colleagues. Additionally, you will be a global partner with the Divisional Controllers colleagues who support other GFS sites to drive consistency in processes and share best practices as well as identifying areas for improvement in processes and controls and strengthen the focus on accounting guidance and interpretation of Pfizer policies.

What you offer:
* You hold a Master or MBA degree in Finance/Accounting/Business and have at least eight years of diversified experience with a solid foundation in Accounting and Controls.
* You have a minimum of 4 years' experience with a Big 4 accounting firm, shared service experience and understanding of Pfizer's processes is an additional plus.
* You are a certified public account or have a chartered accountancy equivalent with demonstrated proficiency in US GAAP, local GAAP, Statutory Reporting, FASB and IFRS and have good working knowledge of Pfizer Accounting Policies and Procedures.
* You show strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers.
* You have strong communication skills and fluent language skills in English.
