POSITION

Our growing investment marketplace platform is looking for a bright and engaged BUSINESS ANALYST. Working hand in hand with the management team of CROWDBERRY across Czech and Slovak Republic, the candidate shall become our core team member and participate/lead our market and company research, identify, acquire and execute new exciting investment opportunities in START-UPs and SMEs for our registered investors. Our new team member shall be responsible for a complex set of business analytics tasks, representing Crowdberry externally and drive the operational as well as strategic activities of the firm going forward.

If you know how to look at the business environment from a helicopter view, appreciate very flat corporate hierarchy and want to learn to connect the right dots to succeed, we would love to hear from you and take you onboard.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Business analysis of Startup/Small and Medium sized enterprises for new deal-flow opportunities § Market research of the crowdfunding competition in the CEE region and beyond
- Gather, analyse and interpret corporate, financial and market information
- Prepare reports and workshops for selected industries and megatrends
- Support the team with deal-flow management, marketing and investment related activities § Participation in an open-minded, creative and hard-working team (start-up affinity)

REQUIREMENTS

- Market and (financial) data research skills with attention to details and appreciation of numbers. § Experience in reading and understanding financial statements, reports and presentations
- Sound writing and communication skills in both Slovak and English language
- Appropriate university education with solid results and up to 3 yrs targeted work experience
- Sound proficiency in MS Office suite
- Out of the box non-business/financial background will be considered with care too!
