For our Technical Sales team in our Label Packaging Materials (LPM) business we are hiring an experienced Technical Sales Manager Eastern Europe (EE) - Roll Materials. This is a very challenging role in a very fast growing business and within the lead of a high performing technical sales team.
You will be mainly based at our Distribution Center in Prague, Czech Republic with travel amount of 50 - 70% in Eastern European region, and directly report to our Sales Director Eastern Europe

As Technical Sales Manager Eastern Europe (EE) - Roll Materials you will lead your LPM team consisting of Technical Sales Consultants, Technical Sales Specialists and/or Technical Sales Lab Services by providing clear goals, strategies and initiatives and driving the necessary change to ensure achievement of divisional financial and non-financial metrics in Eastern European region.
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
- Definition of performance standards and monitoring of skills and competencies of the team
- Responsible for training and development of employees in team
- Attract, retain and develop high potential talent
- Establishment and application of corporate policies and procedures as well as suggestions on modifications of those standards
- Perform general management duties, exercising usual authority concerning staff, performance appraisals, promotions and terminations
- Act as a team role model and change-agent
- Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals
Regional Technical Sales Focus
- Leading partner with customers and sales force to drive top-line sales growth and deliver on sales targets; support increased sales of newly developed and existing products in current markets and new markets
- Work with sales force to proactively identify unmet needs at customer (end user) locations and develop and implement strategies to offer solutions and options to customer that leverage the entire product offering
- Provide outstanding customer satisfaction by personally developing strong relationships with major customers
- Responsible for the timely delivery of excellent on site service/support and satisfaction to all customers (internal and external) by providing critical support to the Sales Organization
- Structure territories, accounts and responsibilities among field service technicians to ensure customer needs are met
- Implement global/regional initiatives and ensure execution and sustainment throughout department
- Develop, conduct and coordinate technical training academy and workshops/seminars for customers and internal Sales team; oversee and assist in providing technical assistance and training to all customer representatives and Technical Sales Specialists and Consultants as needed
- Review and resolve product issues and problems/concerns with applicable areas, such as customers, customer care center, internal quality departments and other functional area related to product management and product development
- Assist in developing Sales & Marketing Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures (OGSM) for assigned area and confirm linkage to global business strategies.
- Maintain positive, constructive internal relationships with key people in Sales, Marketing and other management and collaborate closely on key business decisions
- Develop, analyze and manage budgets
- Develop and execute appropriate business plans/multi-generation product plans to identify trends, opportunities for marketplace advantage and new ideas for products, processes and services that create competitive advantage
Technical Lab Service Focus
- Lead the lab technicians in support of providing services and support to the customer
- Coordinate all departmental activities to ensure all analysis and application tests are provided in time supporting successful translation into new business
- Support the lab team with consultancy on testing procedures and product selection guidance
- Manage the environmental, health and safety related product inquiries from customers in strong collaboration with product regulatory affairs management. Furthermore is proactively looking into regulatory trends and requirements in order to bring the voice of the customer to the organization.
