• Actively promote and sell the hotels and its services following the company strategy.
• Conduct active sales calls – minimum 4 days per week out of the hotel, completing minimum 10 sales calls per week.
• Identify the new and prospective business opportunities of the company
• Identify the client’s exact needs by questioning, observation and the completion of a full sales survey.
• Provide inspections trips, show around the hotel(s) and other activities in the properties.
• Entertain prospective clients, where possible combining this with visits to existing satisfied customers.
• Visit prospective clients regularly, often enough to maintain their interest, ensure clients satisfaction and good client relationships.
• Participate in sales events, shows, travel exhibitions and fairs; and provide report after each event and follow up each report.
• Follow company marketing strategy.
• Create and develop new business opportunities and promotions for special packages, events, weddings and others.
• Prepare sales action plans and strategies. Plan and conduct direct marketing activities.
• Participate in preparation of special F&B promotions for the hotels – culinary calendar, special events, feasts etc.
• Represent the company when establishing and maintaining the relationship with customer.
• Provide sales activity reports to Director of Sales and Managing Director and follow up each report regularly.
• Achieve or increase budgeted sales targets.
• Responsible for monthly internal statistics of a MICE and corporate segments upon instructions.
• Analyse of the situation in the market, analyse of statistics to identifying key sales areas, problems and success rate.
• Constant monitoring and awareness of competitor´s activity.
• Present a realistic proposal to a prospective client, having thoroughly researched cost factors, and ensure that the proposal is achievable.
• Constantly being aware of new business opportunities and action these.
• Follows up the company dress-code policy.
• Comply with the health and safety regulations, including all internal regulations of the company.
• Performs work according to the instructions of manager.
